What is the cost of enrollment?
Each week long session will cost $1600. If a student wants to stay for two weeks or extended beyond a week, please contact us so we can negotiate on the total price. A deposit of $500 will be required for all students. Cost includes room, food, insurance, airport pickup and dropoff, training, and activities.
Airfare is not included.
We may also have a bus drive along the East Coast from Baltimore to the camp and could pick up students along the way. Flexible sessions are also available, please contact us if you would like to arrange one.
We can also accommodate students who would like to come in between the set two week schedules.
When are the sessions?
What kind of training is involved?
We will work on off court training and on court technical skills. This includes court movement, hills, circuit training, ball control, and consistency drills. Strategy and tactics will be consistenly worked on. Every second day we'll have challenge the coach. We will have LIVE streaming of challenge matches on YouTube for families to watch their kids in action. Finally, we will utilize video analysis and take the students through a complete refereeing course with analysis.
At the end of each week session we will hold a tournament with a new racquet or squash bag as prize. We will also give other squash gear to students throughout the week.
What should students bring?
Students should bring: enough clothes for twelve training sessions, sleeping bag (optionally bed sheets and blanket), swim suit, two towels, outdoor shoes, warm night clothes, squash gear, and hiking backpack.
What are the rules?
Students will be with counselors during all activities. Ability to swim is not required for squash training, but is required for any water activities. No smoking is allowed, and no illegal drug or alcohol use will be tolerated. No candles or other flammable light sources allowed.
How does transportation work?
Flights to Sydney (YQY), Nova Scotia usually go through Air Canada. We will provide free transporation to and from the Sydney airport. Driving is a scenic alternative, and parents are highly welcome to visit.
